At the Dawn

StillbirthMockery
StillbirthMockery thumbnail
StillbirthMockery Russian symphonic power metal with dense, actively involved guitar work and surprisingly creative drumming. The keyboards you expect are there but they coordinate very tightly with the former instrument, resulting in a sound with the expected grandeur of this subgenre yet grounded far more firmly in the fundamentals of solid riffcraft.

Empress and Thy Majestie come to mind in how they meld their miniature symphonise with a progressive finesse and intricacy though this is chunkier.
